A camping holiday naturally includes a campfire.
Campfire
We have three campfire areas that everyone is free to use. Children can collect branches from our small woodland and, together with their parents, make a cosy fire. Perfect for roasting marshmallows, bread on a stick (see below) or sausages.
After a sometimes long journey or an adventurous day, gazing into the flames remains a wonderful way to unwind, just doing nothing for a while.

Stargazing
At our campsite, enjoyment starts the moment you have set up your tent, caravan or folding trailer. In the evening, you can relax with a snack and a drink while admiring the beautiful starry sky.

Baking bread on a stick
This recipe makes approximately 8 bread rolls.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of plain flour
- 16 grams of baking powder, sifted
- 3 grams of salt
- 30 grams of butter, at room temperature
- approx. 278 grams of water
Method:
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.
Add the butter and water and knead into a smooth, elastic dough.
Shape the dough into a roll of about 5 cm in diameter.
Wrap the dough around a damp branch or stick, making sure the tip of the stick is covered with dough, otherwise it will burn. Do not wrap the dough too thickly around the stick, as it will take a long time to cook. Also make sure the dough has an even thickness all around.
Hold the stick with the dough above the fire until it starts to brown and is cooked through. Do not hold it too close to the fire, as the outside will burn (not tasty and not healthy!) while the inside remains raw. It is better to hold the dough higher above the fire and slowly turn the stick.
Let it cool slightly and slide the bread off the stick.
You can insert a small sausage into the hole left by the stick, or fill it with jam or chocolate sprinkles for an extra treat.
