Children activities in Burgundy

 

Our campsite is very diverse, but also conveniently divided into different fields. The advantage is that you can share in the enjoyment of your children while they are playing. We also have drivable toys that can be used free of charge such as small tractors. In the neighbouring forest there is a zip line where the kids can slide to their hearts content from one side to the other. It even has enough space to build a hut! Next to the sanitary building is a large sandbox with all kinds of toys and a mechanical digger, so you can keep an eye on your kids whilst doing the washing up.

Wooden Play Castle

 

Your children will have no difficulty to entertain themselves at our camping, especially on the wooden castle with two towers. This “fortification” is a great place to have an adventure! The kids can climb on the castle, swing from it and also play in the sandbox or on the trampoline. As a parent, you can always keep a watchful eye on the playground from your pitch. The castle is also surrounded with play sand for soft landings.

Skelters and Electric Jeeps

 

We have several skelters for free (Berg brand), some electric 4×4 jeeps and a quad for rent.

Trampoline

We have a large trampoline with a diameter of 3.5 m which also comes with a safety net, so even the smallest children can enjoy some jumping action. You might also be able to have a go, but see if the children will let you…

Swimming

The lake next to the campsite offers a great way to cool down during the summer. The children can have fun in the water, play on the “beach” as well as wade in the shallow waters. Parents can find an idyllic spot in the sun or shade in order to keep an eye on things.

Because the lake is actually owned by someone else and used as a breeding ground for carp and catfish, only swimming is allowed along the shoreline. Air mattresses or boats are therefore not allowed.

This region has several other opportunities for swimming. There are many pools in the area or you can even go for a swim in the Loire river or any of the nearby lakes. There you will be able to use your inflatable boats and air mattresses.

Hiking

From the campsite you can enjoy various walks in the woods – there is even a trail that you and your children can take all the way to Fours (about 5 km).

Pancake Party

A pancake party is a must at any camping and makes for great memories. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun – whether you help baking or help eating, it’s always a great social event.

Amusement Parks

Le Pal

Le Pal is a zoo and amusement park in one. Address: Saint-Pourçain-sur-Besbre, 03290 Dompierre-sur-Besbre.

Parc des combes

This amusement park is highly recommended with many attractions, hiking and mountainbiking trails and even a 640m long bobsleigh course! More than enough opportunities to have a great day out! Address: Rue des Pyrénées, 71200 Le Creusot.

Divertiparc

At this amusement park you can enjoy a relaxing or adventurous day with the whole family. It has various interactive games, fairytale walks and bouncy castles. Address: Route de Gueugnon, Toulon sur arroux en Bourgogne.

Tree Climbing

At Les Zaccroches you can safely go tree climbing. More information can be found at the camping reception.

While going shopping in the larger towns and cities, your kids can enjoy themselves the whole day at either of the following 2 locations:
